Fan bone and fan surface combination
Once the sector has been drawn, the next step is to combine the sector and the bones. The craftsman needs to carefully fix the cut fan to the fan bones by glue or paste, ensuring that the fan surface is flat and not wrinkled, and the gap between each bamboo bone is suitable to facilitate the expansion and folding of the fan.

Reinforce and decorate
In order to enhance the durability and beauty of the fan, the craftsman will reinforce the seams and edges of the fan. The edges are usually wrapped with metal wire, silk ribbon and other materials to prevent fraying. Many high-grade handmade fans will also add delicate metal accessories, such as gold and silver foil decoration, or add exquisite decorations between the bone and the fan, such as jewelry, jade jewelry, etc.
